New car paint protection
New car paint protection starts with the panels that meet the road, then the paint, then the glass. A heavy detail is not the first step if the paint is already clean.
Film the front before the chips land.
Most daily drivers start with a full front: bumper, hood, fenders and mirrors, from $1,695, or $1,995 large. A bumper-only job is the smaller start. The film is what stops a rock. A coating will not.
We install film in the shop. Text the vehicle and we confirm standard or large before we schedule.
Coat the paint for gloss, not for chips.
After the film, a ceramic coating is the gloss and the easier wash. It can go on the painted panels the film does not cover.
The full-front plus ceramic combo is $2,395 standard or $2,695 large. Level 1 coating alone starts at $479 if you are not ready for a 5-year or 10-year layer.
Tint is the glass.
Tint does not protect the paint. Ceramic tint rejects 80% of heat. Two front doors start at $149. Nano-ceramic rejects 96% and starts at $220 for those two doors. The rest of the glass is on the tint page.
We help you pick a shade that fits Pennsylvania tint rules. We do not print a legal percentage here.
Skip the rescue detail if the car is new.
New to KBC, a used car starts with a Level 2 or Level 3 before The Detail Club. A new car is the exception. The club can start the month after, one visit a month, from $150 in the shop.
If the new paint already has light marks, say so. The coating prep includes a machine gloss polish. Deeper marks are a correction, priced before we start, not assumed. Call or text (814) 680-2418.
